Sony BRAVIA KDL60NX720 60-inch 1080p 3D Went HDTV

This TV is replacing my 2 1/2 year old Samsung 61″ DLP. I wanted to get something thinner with no rear projection system and entire HD 3D.

Right away of the box, the movie is quite stunning. The colors are accurate and the contrast ratio is very good. Equally usual though with any “default” setting, the sharpness is up besides high revealing digital artifacts with also much edge enhancement. A fast calibration with any calibration DVD or Blu-Ray takes tending of these problems. I will enounce that I did not motivation to adjust the colour and shade settings. They were berth on.

When you first act on the TV, you are presented with a series of screens to setup language, screen settings, network and other diverse options. It goes reasonably quick. Zippo also difficult. If you utilization MAC security on your router, you will motive to skip the network setup share and do it subsequently since you will motivation to retrieve the MAC code from the network setup menus. Also, the internal WiFi adapter is 2.4 GHz only. It does not flowed at 5 GHz. You will motive a freestanding adapter to do 5 GHz.

Once I received everything setup, I did various tests from different sources. Satellite TV, Blu-Ray and online streaming from Netflix and YouTube. All looked excellent. Equally much as I’m not a large fan of “Motionflow” technology, this TV does it quite substantially thus I might leave it turned on. Quick actions scenes with Motionflow feel quite amazing.

The anti-glare glass screen is the biggest surprise. Reflections are selfsame subdued thus if KDL60NX720 you have lots of light in the room, you won’t experience any problems viewing the picture.

3D from straight 3D sources forge as expected. Things pop right out of the screen. The simulated 3D works merely OK. Depth is not whole that great. It’s more of a novelty than anything else.

The setup menus are selfsame PS3′ish. Variety of the same design. If you have a PS3, you will be properly at dwelling when navigating the menus.

Samsung UN40D6400 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Extended HDTV

Son was i like a child on xmas when the UPS guy rendered up with this baby. When it came in the doorway i was SHOCKED at how slim the box was AND THATS Only THE BOX ! Afterward unboxing and set-up, i was forthwith certainly i received made the decently choice. You’ll see me repeat over and over again how nice this tv is and im dismal merely i motivation to cause my guide across :) The super slim bezzle or edge is great. Pic quality is stunning, colors pop and although the 120hz machine motion plus isn’t for everyone, it’s still spectacular. On that bank-note i experience to say, later reading thus many comments from people who dislike the automobile motion plus UN40D6400 (or soap opera affect) i believe it’s important to banknote that becoming altogether the placing to the max will feeling odd…it’s not meant for that. i receive my blur at max merely my judder at entirely 4 or 5….i detect it needs to exist adjusted based on programming. My one and Exclusively gripe is that it doesnt got with 3d Glasses…..i know it’s not a huge issue only you believe paying that amount for a tv they’d exist able to throw in some $40 glasses no? One more thing…not a con simply a point….BUY THE QWERTY REMOTE ! it is a imperial hurting trying to employment T9 on the SMART Hub.

Samsung UN60D8000 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Extended HDTV

I purchased this TV to substitute my old 42″ Vizio LCD i bought nigh 6 years ago. I did a fate of research online and decided it was either a sony or a samsung based decease recommendations from friends and online. I became to my local electronics shop to see some of the TVs in action. While there I reckoned last years model of this TV. While very nice i have an all black metal endure for my tv, thus i though the thick silver bezel would stomach out. I talked to an associate and they said me nigh3 the young 2011 model. Erst i viewed it i knew it was the TV i wanted. I did some shopping around and felt Amazon had the best price overall. i was a bit skeptical virtually making such a large buy and ordering online.

I experience heard some complaints near the companies utilized to ship the TVs. I get to enunciate i had a good experience. The delivery was created in the first hour of my pitch appointment window. The box of the tv was a little damaged in the underside corner but zip to headache about.my TV was brought inside and I inspected it and wow is this thing a shape of art. eventide the pitch guys were impressed, they hadn’t discovered the new example yet. The tv was a little cold from being stored in the warehouse and on the truck thus i assembled everything and hooked up totally my extras (home theater, xbox 360, ps3, cable box etc) only i didn’t plug the power in for nigh 2 hours to permit the TV warm UN60D8000 up and avoid damage to it. Once i turned it on i was greeted with an slow and simpleton to follow setup of the tv and radio network.
I experience read one poor review of this tv stating the ran backlight was visible fromt the edges and i have to disagree. i cannot see the backlight generator at all. this is by far the best looking tv on the market. I do nonetheless wish it had full array ran backlighting kinda than the dynamic edge.

my only complaint (if you can even shout it that) is the remote. it is a bit chunky because of the full qwerty on the back and i havent been able to induce the qwerty slope to sync with my tv nonetheless it keeps saying failure.. i would get liked to see the affect screen remote that was included with the 9000 series before. nevertheless on the thousand scale this is minor. I experience exclusively had this tv for a short time just i would highly recommend this tv if it is in your budget.

Samsung UN46D8000 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Went HDTV

I wanted to give this TV a glowing review; later all, it has some of the latest Ran technology, and the mode is trend setting. Subsequently a week with this TV, I am less than slaked with the ‘Samsung Experience’. Permit me make this conk my chest first. Did you ever snuff to an event, like a county fair, early, when not wholly the rides and attractions Samsung UN46D8000 were open? You’re excited because it looks like it can be a lot of fun, simply it’s only a turn too early for the total experience. Well, that’s the way I feel nigh this TV. First of all, the 3d glasses that are supposed to send with this TV were not in the box. Instead, there is a voucher you may mail in, or exit online to order (which I did). Afterward a week and no response, I predicted to notice out why the delay. I was told to read the voucher’s fine print, which enunciated there was a 10-12 week hold for the glasses. Not good. Secondly, I found an issue with the remote check unit, which is not a playfulness thing to experience in your hand. It is variety of short and stubby, with two sides. One slope has a QWERTY keyboard for text entry, and a touch-sensitive pointer. I notice that the up, down, right, left controls do not forge right with my unit, and foreboded brook to report this. They seemed identical interested in the matter and told me they would shout back in 45 seconds (after they laid up a testing unit) for further info. There was no cry back. Another reviewer noted the difficulty in pairing the remote with the TV, via Bluetooth. I besides found this to exist a problem and not consistently slow to do.

Toshiba 46WX800U 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D Passed TV

i researched these types of sets for months for Toshiba 46WX800U the family. surprisingly there were scarcely any reviews on the 55wx800u – none on cnet or other major review sites. since my family loves toshiba productions (3 generations of toshiba buying family members) we decided to accept the plunge on this tv. fairly priced with a wholly host of settings to customize your tv’s picture, if you similar to tweak. if not, you could take from some nice presets. overall, the colour is vibrant, the positioned is very attractive – elegant, professional but not overly done alike some other sets. prior to this tv, we received the panasonic s2 42″ plasma tv (which replaced a 53″ toshiba projection television)in the family room,as i wanted to endeavor a plasma set and toshiba doesn’t make plasmas. happy with the panay, we were torn to either get the panasonic 54vt 3dtv or this set. pricing was like – but internet was not built into the panay. the plasma consumes much more power than this set. also, the 3d glasses that arrived with the toshiba are much more comfortable than the ones that came with the panay. thus without reviews and based alone on my family’s have with toshiba, we bought this tv. we are extremely felicitous and i conceive all the verbalise almost blooming, clouding, flashlighting that comes with an edge lit set similar this one is either overdone or toshiba has done an excellent business overcoming these issues. some flying things to note, connection to the radio internet got smoothly and the widgets are identical cool. there is a system update that takes near 5 mins – thus build certainly you update your system. also, when attaching the standing to the tv, it states slide and lock…it’s a number confusing and customer service wasn’t identical helpful –
