I purchased this lawnmower in the stake of being more commons and not having Black and Decker MM1800 the hassle of the gas, oil, fumes, noise, maintenance, and tune-ups of a petrol mower. Those are sure advantages. The B&D is quiet, light, easy to handle, starting is easy, and height adjustment is identical convenient. The cord may be a hassle but it’s just an adjustment in the “gasoline attitude” and you make used to it. The extra price of a 100′, 12g cord adds another $50-60 to the price of the mower, plus it is fair heavy. My biggest problem with this mower is that it simply doesn’t cut the grass very well. Regardless of what Consumer Reports says, it doesn’t render an eventide cut. I’ve felt the raw to be quite uneven. The powerfulness only isn’t there, which I consider is the chief ground for this. The low powerfulness doesn’t force the grass up to countenance the blade to cut the grass efficiently. Things as basic equally dandelions are not cut unless you expire over them a few times.
